Program Philosophy
The Doctor of Communication Arts program aims to produce graduates who are communication scholars with expertise in theory, research, and knowledge creation at an international standard. Graduates will be able to apply communication knowledge to address communication issues at both the national and international levels, with social responsibility and integrity.
Career Opportunities
Graduates are able to pursue careers in the field of communication arts and other related professions, whether through self-employment, entrepreneurship, innovation, or working within organizations and agencies in both the public and private sectors, across a wide range of areas.
- Related academic fields include university lecturers, scholars, researchers in higher education institutions, consumer behavior researchers, marketing communication researchers, media studies specialists, and researchers in media design and production, among others.
- Related professional fields include communication policy makers, communication organization executives, media design consultants, marketing communication consultants, arts and culture critics, communication strategy planners, and communication innovators, among others.
